After I obtained my Master of Nursing at the University of Calgary I started my career as a nurse practitioner working in cardiology medicine / CCU in Calgary. Since returning to Victoria in 2020 I have worked in primary care and then in the fall of 2022 was able to join the cardiac surgery program here at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.

I grew up in London, ON and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Western Ontario. During my first two years as an RN, I worked with several surgical services including vascular, thoracic, and general surgery. In the fall of 2022, I joined the cardiology team and began working on the cardiac surgery ward.

In my free time I enjoy reading, running, hiking, and backpacking with friends and family.

In joint effort myself, the CVT office, the SDSA RNs and our 5 surgeons will ensure you have all the support you and your loved ones need as you go through your surgical journey. As Triage Co-ordinator I will help organize your surgical date and any pre-operative requirements that you may need.
